Silicon Carbon Alloy

Silicon Carbon Alloy is a by-product of silicon metal production, further processed through crushing, screening, and optional briquetting. Unlike standard FeSi-which only deoxidizes-this alloy introduces carbon into the molten bath, enabling simultaneous oxygen removal and carbon adjustment.

(1) Steelmaking Deoxidizer: Applied in BOF/EAF for deoxidation and alloying, ideal for carbon/low-alloy steels with dual decarbonization-carburization effects.

(2) Foundry Enhancer: Promotes graphitization in cast iron, improving fluidity and tensile strength of castings.

(3) Resource Substitute: Replaces costly ferromanganese/silicon carbide in heat-resistant/high-speed steel production.
