A: High Carbon Silicon (Si68C18) contains both Si (≥68%) and C (≥18%), delivering deoxidation AND carburization in one product. FeSi 75 only provides Si (72–78%) with minimal C. Using HC Silicon 68 can replace the combination of FeSi + separate carburizer, reducing cost by up to 30%.
