In aluminum casting, silicon improves the melt. It reduces surface tension so the molten alloy flows better into thin sections. It also lowers the coefficient of thermal expansion, which means less shrinkage and cracking as the casting cools. For 4XXX series alloys, Si is the main alloying element, and grade 553 gives you a clean source thats easy to work with.

We also supply silicon metal to the chemical sector for silicone production, but the majority goes to aluminum smelters and foundries. We test every batch in our own lab for Si, Fe, Al, and Ca before it leaves the factory. COA included with each shipment.

Our main markets are Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America. Weve been shipping regular volumes to customers in these regions for years. Packaging is 1 MT big bags or 25 kg small bags, with customization available on request. Lead time is about 7-10 days, sometimes faster for repeat orders.
