Silicon Carbon Alloy
We produce silicon carbon alloy at our Henan smelting facility by fusing high-grade silicon with carbon materials in submerged arc furnaces. The result is a composite deoxidizer that works double duty in steelmaking - the silicon scavenges oxygen from molten steel while the carbon provides recarburizing at the same time. Weve found this makes Si-C alloy a cost-effective replacement for pricier ferroalloys in many steel mills across China and Southeast Asia.
We offer two standard grades to match different cost and performance targets:

SCA-1 is our premium grade with higher silicon content for mills that want stronger deoxidation without compromise. SCA-2 offers a more econoimcal option while still delivering reliable performance for standard carbon steel grades. Both sizes feed well into ladle or furnace additions without excessive dust.
Each batch goes through spectrometric analysis before shipping so you get consistent chemistry every time. Weve been supplying Si-C alloy to steelmakers across China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East for over eight years now.
