Silicon Metal 753
Silicon Metal is a product smelted from quartz and coke in electric furnaces, with a typical silicon (Si) content of around 98% (high-purity grades up to 99.99%) and impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
This metalloid appears as a dark gray solid with a bluish metallic luster. It has a melting point of 1410–1420°C, a density of 2.33–2.34 g/cm³
