Standard SiMn 6517 Ferroalloy

Standard SiMn 6517 Ferroalloy​ (also known as Ferro Silicon Manganese 65/17 or FeMn68Si18) is a core ferroalloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron and a small amount of carbon. It is manufactured through the high-temperature smelting of manganese ore, silica, and carbon materials in a submerged arc furnace, then crushed and screened to the required particle size.

The product appears as silver-grey metallic lumps​ with angular block shapes. Standard particle sizes are 10–50 mm, 10–70 mm, or 10–100 mm.
